That's very interesting. I will have to check to see where my best lens sets with Google. I do know that overall I get more traffic with Squidoo.

My best lens in terms of traffic and ranking comes in the top 3 on Google for the most obvious search terms I'm delighted to say and has done from about a week or two after I published it last year. Other lenses come up high too in Google results so I know Squidoo works. Like Julie, I've been a long term fan of Google.

Interesting, Paul. I was just telling my husband that what you do on Squidoo is what I should do, and would do if I had more time. My statement wasn't totally true, though. I tend to run in tangents and create lenses on whims. You clearly have a plan, or at least a method. What I need to do is use my time to create a plan and then stick with it. In other words, I need to work smarter. What you do is an excellent example of working smart.

By the way, Squidoo works for me, too. It's just that I know that I am in no way reaching its, and my own, full potential. That would be, should be, will be, the focus of my new plan.

Thanks for being such a good example.

Well done Paul. I am really pleased that all your hard work is paying off. I too am seeing some good results these days with well researched key words and lens urls but Rome never was built in a day and neither is our presence on Squidoo!

Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment Julie - much appreciated.

It just goes to show that used properly (i.e. not spammy!) Squidoo achieves great results.

Take care
